As most of the smartphone users want to use the higher screen refresh rate all the time on every app, game, web, etc. Therefore, Realme X2 Pro users are also eagerly awaited to use the 90Hz refresh rate on the PUBG mobile game or any other apps where browsing or real-time task or even fluidity matters a lot. Luckily, there is an ADB command available in the Realme X2 Pro’s firmware that can easily turn on the 90Hz refresh rate for all apps and games expectedly.
How to force 90Hz mode in every app including PUBG mobile on the Realme X2 Pro
A huge thanks to the XDA Recognized Developer phhusson for discovering the essential parameters a few months ago this year. In order to bypass the limit of the 90Hz refresh rate on Realme X2 Pro, you will need to play with an Android service called ‘SurfaceFlinger’. Most importantly, your Realme X2 Pro has to be rooted in order to execute the following command from the ADB shell or terminal.
Go to Google Play Store and download Terminal Emulator for Android app. Make sure that your handset is already rooted. (Check Realme X2 Pro Rooting Guide) Now, launch the Terminal app – It will ask you to grant root permissions. Just allow the root access. Type the following command and execute it.
That’s it. Now, you’ve successfully enabled a 90Hz refresh rate for all the apps on your Realme X2 Pro. Additionally, you can enable the 90fps counter on the screen by using the following command.
You’re done.

For PUBG Mobile
Download the 90FPS enabler for Third-party apps on Realme UI ( [email protected]) It’s a Magisk module. Now, copy and paste the magisk module zip file on your device storage. Download and install the Magisk Manager on your handset. (If not installed previously) Launch the Magisk Manager – Tap on three-bar icon (hamburger) on the upper left side. Go to Modules – Tap on (+) icon to add a new module. Browse and select the downloaded Magisk Module file ([email protected]). Once the module is installed, go back to the Modules section and check whether the installed module has been checked or not. If yes, then simply restart your Realme X2 Pro and you’re good to go.
